there are many great options for molecular graphics–here are the ones that I use:<\/em><\/p>\n

Jmol<\/strong> <\/a>(my favorite lightweight viewer–I use the little Jmol.jar stand-alone application for *everything*)<\/p>\n

Mol* <\/a><\/strong>(the default viewer at the RCSB Protein Data Bank–lots of interesting options)<\/p>\n

ChimeraX<\/a> <\/strong>(this molecular graphics powerhouse will do just about anything you want to do)<\/p>\n

Illustrate<\/strong><\/a> (my non-photorealistic rendering method for molecules–beware, only a very basic user interface!)<\/p>\n
